Feature Floors - Floorsanding and Polishing is an independently run business that has been around for more than 35 years. I specialise in parquetry flooring, strip timber flooring, staining and polishing. With many years of experience and expert knowledge of floors being a second generation tradesman, my business provides only the best quality result for floors.
As a business I strive to give all customers the benefit of the best that exists, in best method, equipment, and finishes. I use only carefully balanced specialist equipment, use the best quality finishes, and go through all the required steps meticulously to provide each floor with the best results achievable.

PARQUETRY INSTALLATION
Parquetry is a beautiful and unique alternative to traditional strip timber.  It is available in a myriad of timber species and can be laid in many different patterns such as Herringbone, Mosaic, Brick, Random etc... Parquet can be laid over many existing surfaces provided the sub floor is suitable.  Often the installation of a suitable underlay such as plywood is required.  I can advise you on what will best suit your application.

CONTEMPORARY HOME
While working on this project, I was very strict about the materials and footprint of my work. My client was interested in an economically and environmentally sustainable outcome, and I did everything to respect these wishes throughout the whole process in order to make sure they were satisfied with the outcome.
STAINING
This is another image from the above job that was a NEW baltic pine floor that was aged through applying stain to create a lovely warm look. This was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of my dedication to deliver a quality product and see it through from start to finish despite added complexity of colour in order to ensure full client satisfaction.
RENOVATED HOMES
A lovely Spotted Gum strip timber floor with satin Bona waterborne finish.
EXTENSION
This floor uses a solvent based low sheen finish that is both durable and natural looking.
